About the Role:
The China E-Commerce Manager will be responsible for developing and managing our E-Commerce platforms and Mini-programs in China (WeChat, Red, Douyin, Direct E-Commerce Website). This position reports to the Global Head of E-Commerce based in Hong Kong.
Define E-Commerce growth strategy across platforms like WeChat, Douyin, Red, and Direct Ecommerce for China
Implement growth and expansion plans for site merchandising, sales campaign ideas, design ideas
Manage local operation partners like Agencies or TP’s
Identify must haves and implements user experience
Ensure improvement of user experience through permanent analytics studies
Manage Daily/Weekly/Monthly contents localisation and translations
Formulate a measurable plan to improve sales
Develop an analytics plan to track and measure the performance of site conversion, ROI on ad-campaigns, SEO and Social Media
Work in collaboration with our Marketing team, Customer Service team, Design team, Branding team
Gain Key market insights, market trends on technologies and E-Commerce best practices of the Chinese market
Insure a consistent adaptation of our International E-Commerce experience to the Chinese market
Bachelors’s Degree holder
Minimum 5 years’ experience in E-Commerce and Digital marketing
Demonstrated knowledge of E-Commerce and digital Marketing in China
Proven track record of operating Chinese platforms like WeChat, Douyin, Red or direct Website Commerce
Fluency in Mandarin is a must & English
Creative, resourceful, and willing to be very hands-on
Entrepreneurial, willing to do what it takes to solve problems
Positive, energetic and excellent communication skills
Ability to work autonomously
Outstanding work ethic and sense of ownership and accountability
